The Birthing Circle Company(“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how we use cookies, and what rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Who we are

The Birthing Circle Company provides antenatal, hypnobirthing and baby first aid classes across Walsall, North Birmingham, Cannock and the surrounding areas. For any privacy query, contact us at info@birthingcirclecompany.co.uk.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

• Booking form — name, email address, phone number, your baby’s due date, the class you’re interested in, and any message you add.
• Contact form — name, email address, your message, and whether you’ve asked for a free discovery call.

We do not collect payment details through this website — no payment is taken online.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit only to respond to your booking or enquiry, arrange and run classes, and keep you informed about your booking. We never sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Submissions are stored securely in our booking system (Supabase) and a notification email is sent to our team via our email provider (SMTP2GO) so we can reply to you. We keep booking and enquiry records only for as long as reasonably needed to provide our classes and meet our legal/accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them as follows:

• Essential. A single cookie/local storage entry that remembers your cookie preference, so we don’t ask you again. This is always on, as the site can’t function correctly without remembering your choice.
• Analytics (optional). With your consent, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are popular. This is privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics: it does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally. It only runs after you accept analytics cookies below.

We don’t use advertising cookies, social media trackers, or any third-party marketing pixels on this site.

You can change your cookie preference at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to request a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how we handle your data.
